During my recent city break at Baan Minnie in Koh Samet, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect fusion of comfort and convenience that this establishment offers. The spacious rooms, equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, provided a lovely retreat after a day of exploration. I particularly enjoyed the private balcony, where I could sip tea and soak in the tranquil atmosphere, far removed from the bustling streets. The proximity to Sai Kaew Beach, just 500 meters away, is a notable advantage, making it easy for a history enthusiast like me to recharge before delving into the island's historical narratives. the responsiveness of the staff via messaging was commendable; they offered assistance with tours and provided recommendations for local dining, ensuring that my experience was both enjoyable and insightful. A word to the wise for future travelers: be mindful of the entrance gate, as the curious stray dogs have a penchant for playfully absconding with shoes—I unfortunately lost one during my stay! Baan Minnie served as a fantastic base for my explorations, and I would certainly return, as it beautifully blends the vibrancy of Koh Samet with a restful ambiance.
